Cross-section of a hillside residence: the structure and terrace above grade, and below it the concrete grade beam carried on three helical piers — each a straight steel shaft with separate helix bearing plates spaced along it — with a dimpled drainage membrane and perforated pipe in gravel against the foundation wall.

What holdsEverything above.

Engineered foundation, structural and waterproofing systems.

Three systems. One stable structure.

01What you can see

The damagestarts quietly.

Movement shows itself long before it becomes obvious. These are the signs that bring people to us.

Stair-step crack running diagonally through a brick veneer wall, joints filled with sealant
Stair-step crack through a grey concrete block wall
Interior wall with water staining and mould growth on exposed block behind removed finishes
Adjustable steel jack post supporting floor joists in a crawlspace

02Engineered system

A stronger structure starts beneath the surface.

Structural repair and Project examination — Look at the work.

A row of helical piers standing in an open trench beneath the exposed rubble footing of a historic brick building, each a straight steel shaft with separate helix bearing plates and a bolted bracket at the footing, with a tracked drill rig and crew working the cut

Confined space

06Crawlspace

Dry below.Protected above.

Wet crawlspace with standing moisture over bare ground and loose sheeting
Completed crawlspace with sealed vapour barrier over the ground and up the piers

As found

Completed

Moisture below a floor does not stay below the floor. Sealing the ground, correcting bearing and giving water a route out changes the condition of the structure above it.

03Systems

One condition.The right system.

08How this works

Not a product.Not just a service.A system.

  1. 01

    Diagnose

We look at the structure, the soil and the water before anyone quotes a repair.

  2. 02

    Engineer

The system is specified against the condition we actually found — not a package.

  3. 03

    Install

Our own crews install it, inside occupied buildings where that is what the job needs.

  4. 04

    Stabilize

Load transfers, movement stops, and the structure sits on something that will hold.
